Harold James Cleworth was born in an industrial town in England during the second world war. Cleworth had a special talent for designing the machinery and painting landscapes. When he was only a teenager several shows of his paintings were held at local libraries.
Famous automotive artist Cleworth has made many lithographs, The Cobra painted by Cleworth in 1980’s has received rave reviews from both artists and automotive enthusiasts This image was so much in demand that he had to recreate the image in lithograph, this lithograph has been produced on 100% acid free paper. He made many posters, but his poster of the black 300 SL Gullwing mercedes, became most popular.
